Slutty Vegan Best Vegan Restaurant

Slutty Vegan

Slutty Vegan is growing quickly, and for good reason. The tasty burgers, fries, hotdogs, and other items offered by Pinky Cole’s franchise are irresistible to customers.

Slutty Vegan, a vegan hamburger restaurant chain, has made a name for itself in Atlanta, Georgia, since its establishment in August 2018. The brainchild of Pinky Cole, a former television producer, the restaurant initially started as a ghost kitchen concept. This innovative approach allowed customers to order their food online conveniently and have it delivered to their doorstep. Cole was inspired to create Slutty Vegan after realizing the lack of options for late-night vegan dining in the city.

One unique aspect of Slutty Vegan is its clever use of sex as a theme to attract a diverse range of customers, including non-vegans. Cole understood that incorporating this provocative element into her branding could generate curiosity and intrigue. Leveraging the power of social media and word-of-mouth, the restaurant quickly gained popularity and garnered a dedicated following.

After starting in a shared kitchen, Slutty Vegan swiftly transitioned to a food truck just a few weeks later. This mobility allowed the brand to reach a wider audience by participating in various events and parking in popular locations. On January 13, 2019, Slutty Vegan further solidified its presence by opening a brick-and-mortar location in Westview, Atlanta.

Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Slutty Vegan managed to thrive and expand. In 2020, two additional locations were opened in Atlanta, demonstrating the brand’s resilience and adaptability. To further diversify its offerings and attract a more extensive customer base, Slutty Vegan collaborated with Shake Shack to release a limited-time plant-based burger

However, like any growing business, Slutty Vegan has not been immune to controversies. As of January 2023, a former employee filed a pending lawsuit concerning lost wages. Such legal challenges highlight the complexities and responsibilities of managing a successful enterprise.

Looking ahead, Slutty Vegan has ambitious plans for further expansion. With its 11 locations spread across Georgia, New York City, Birmingham, Alabama, and Dallas, the brand aims to continue its growth trajectory. By combining bold flavors, creative marketing, and a commitment to providing delicious vegan options, Slutty Vegan hopes to inspire more people to explore plant-based cuisine.

Pinky Cole

Who is Pinky Cole?

It’s reasonable to say that without Cole, Slutty Vegan would not exist; she is the company’s lifeblood and spirit. The franchise’s creator is a philanthropist, cookbook author, and successful businessman who owns another pub in Atlanta. However, getting there has been a challenging journey. Raised in Baltimore, Cole has always called herself a “hustler.” Her mother was forced to work multiple jobs and raise her four children alone while her father was incarcerated. Cole was affected by that resilient and dynamic attitude. In 2019, she stated to Bitter Southerner, “I just always wanted to double whatever I had going on.” “I never gave up on being good enough. My goal has always been to do better than my parents expected of me and to enable my family to have a life free from labor.

She started as a TV producer but finally moved to New York to open her own restaurant. Although Pinky’s Jamaican and American Restaurant was a huge success, she had to return to television after losing everything in a fire. She returned to Atlanta, her original university, after accepting a job with the Oprah Winfrey Network, and it was there that she decided to give pursuing a career in food one more go.

Cole follows her mother’s vegetarian diet and only consumes plant-based foods. However, the concept for a brand-new plant-based eatery was conceived after the founders of Atlanta struggled to locate satisfying vegan food. The rest is history, as they say. Since its founding in 2018, Slutty Vegan has gained tremendous momentum. Cole has also supported her community by making use of that stage.

In 2019, Pinky Cole utilized the proceeds from her foundation, which aims to “empower generations of color to win in life,” to settle the debt of thirty Clark Atlanta University students. Additionally, she contributed to the four children of Ray Shard Brooks, who was shot and killed by Atlanta police in June 2020, receiving college scholarships. Additionally, she gave work at her restaurants and college scholarships to thirty ex-juvenile offenders in the same year.

Cole stated at the time that the goal of Slutty Vegan and the charity was to assist local children. She declared, “This is more than just burgers and fries.” “The goal is to assist these young men in making life changes.”

In the vegan restaurant sector, Slutty Vegan has carved out its own niche. Pinky Cole’s entrepreneurial vision has helped the business succeed, along with the thoughtful application of controversial branding. Slutty Vegan continues to be committed to developing its presence and providing delectable vegan burgers to a customer base that is constantly expanding, despite obstacles like the ongoing epidemic and legal conflicts. Slutty Vegan continues to win the hearts and taste buds of vegans and non-vegans alike by fusing superb food, a lively atmosphere, and a dash of cheekiness
